Summary: Peter doesn't say it very often.
Warning: none.
Notes: none

Peter doesn't say it very often. Miranda is grateful for that.

Not that she doesn't feel it. Not that she doesn't believe it. But love is not easy for her, and she's not an easy person to love. She's sharp, brittle, cold when she should be warm, fierce when she should be tender. Even her siblings, who she loves beyond breath, even with them it's hard.

Peter knows this about her, and yet. Still. He says it rarely-- "I love you, I love you."

She mouths it back, when she can-- "I love you. I love you."

It's getting easier.
