Kes was absolutely certain that her sister was in love with their navigator.
And some of that was that Taz was terrible at keeping this kind of thing secret, of course--everyone on the Morning Glory knew that she and Dallu wanted one another long before they actually slept together.
Then again, that was wanting, not love. Taz had wanted plenty of others before.
There was something about Dallu, though, about the way he fit at her sister's side, like the gods themselves had designed him for her. If Taz wasn't in love with him yet, it was only a matter of time.
But Kes had seen the way Taz smiled at him, the way his eyes followed her even when his Captain didn't need his full attention for work or sex or anything but...being there. No, Taz and Dallu were already there. In Love. She was positive.
Not that she planned on saying anything to either of them, of course. It was always a bad idea to meddle in another person's love affairs. Even for sisters as close as her and Taz.
Besides. Taz wasn't anything like subtle, and Dallu's face was easier to read than just about anyone else that Kes had ever met.
They'd figure it out. Kes was absolutely certain of that, too.
