Rachel doesn't know what she's doing anymore.

How did she get here? She swings her legs out of her bed, grips the sheets. Her parents divorced because of infidelity, and here she is, sleeping with a married man.

Not literally, though, because he goes home to his wife. Rachel tries not to think about his wife.

She sighs, rubs her hands over her face. What is she doing? How can she do this? She loves him, but what does that change?

She has to end it. She knows that. She's always known that.

But how did she end up here?
