Rain Cloud 18, Silver Screen 11: Hot Sauce

Author: Kat
Title: Hot Sauce
Story: Shine Like It Does
Colors: Rain cloud 18 (Not the book/movie I wanted it to be), silver screen 11 (What we've got here is failure to communicate.)
Supplies and Materials: Novelty beads (spice), brush (disport), beading wire (messy eater)
Word Count: 156
Rating: PG-13, if you speak Spanish
Summary: Jack and Felix go out to eat. Felix cannot believe this nonsense.
Warnings: Swearing, again, if you speak Spanish.
Notes: Welp. I should just stop announcing my comebacks.

Jack took a bite of his burrito, made a face, and waved the waiter over. "Your hot sauce is weak," he told the man as soon as he arrived, "and you should feel ashamed."

"Oh my God," Felix said, putting his burrito down. "Shut up, right now. I'm so sorry about him," he added, to the waiter.

"It's fine," said the waiter, his smile fixed. "I'll get something hotter."

"You'd better," Jack said, "because I can't even taste this. Call yourself a Mexican restaurant."

"Pinche güero," the waiter muttered.

"Pinche pendejo," Jack retorted. The waiter flipped him the bird and retreated to the kitchen.

Felix shoved his plate out of the way, put his head on the table, and rolled his forehead along the cool formica. "How have you not been thrown out of every restaurant in Los Angeles?"

"What are you talking about?" Jack asked, with a puzzled frown. "I come here all the time."
