Name: shadowsong26
Story: Heart Song
'Verse: Feredar
Colors: Provence Lavender #15. Morning song, Moonlight #2. Half-asleep
Supplies and Materials: graffiti (Lillith Faire Village Stage; Shoujo-ai), photography, acrylic, glue ("Nevertheless, you are so energized that your emotions will be apparent to others...Rumi wrote, “With life as short as a half-taken breath, don’t plant anything but love.”")
Word Count: 143
Rating: PG
Characters: Lonura
Warnings: Nope
Notes: Constructive criticism welcome, as always.
Lonura was giddy, elated; she could barely believe her luck. Finding her way into Princess Nolani's bed was everything she'd dreamed it would be and more. Not just the sex--though that, too, was divine--but Nolani was every bit as pretty and witty and kind as she'd hoped.
Last night had gone so well--so perfect, in fact--that it almost didn't seem real. Like a fairytale, a fantasy, one of those overblown treacly ballads with about as much relationship to reality as spun sugar had to rawhide.
But morning had come, and she was still here; and then Nolani stirred next to her, and smiled that smile, and--
Lonura gave in to her elation, kissed the tip of her beloved's nose, then her lips, properly. Nolani cuved against her, welcoming and returning the warm good morning, and Lonura--Lonura's heart sang.
