Title: Amongst the Flowers
Timeline: 1116 AW. The characters appearing are Elisabeth and Marguerite's parents: Anna (21) and Henri (32)
Colors: Provence Lavender #2: field of flowers
Supplies and Styles: Canvas + Watercolors ( Write about someone whose nickname is Queen of Awkward Situations)

Anna stared up at the endless blue sky, a dove flew by and Anna smiled. It was so quiet, so peaceful. The air was fragrant with violets.
“I thought I’d find you here,” A voice above her said.
Anna looked up and saw the sparkling blue eyes of Henri. He had his hands on hips and was smirking down at her.
She sat up and brushed the grass off of her black gown. She started to get up, but he put his hand on her shoulder to stop her.
“It’s such a beautiful day, I thought I’d join you,” he said sitting down next to her.
Anna scouted over and turned her head away from him.
“So what are you doing out here?” He asked brushing a brown strand of hair off her shoulder. She felt herself stiffen up.
Anna turned and faced him and smiled mysteriously. “I could ask you the same thing, Your Majesty. You’re supposed to have an outing with the Queen today, am I right?”
Henri coughed. “Princess Marie went in my place. I think she’d appreciate it more than I would.”
Anna stared into his blue eyes before nodding. “Yes, I suppose she would.”
They were quiet for awhile. Anna leaned back and looked up at the sky again. Henri leaned back as well.
“This isn’t the first time I’ve seen you out here in this field, Lady Anna. Tell me what draws you here?”
Anna sighed and looked over at him. “It’s peaceful and I can think. The palace is so noisy and I just need to escape it sometime.”
Henri nodded. He stared hard at her beautiful red lips. He wanted very much to kiss them.
“Lady Anna, if I asked you for a kiss, would you refuse me?”
Anna smiled slightly before frowning. “No one can refuse the King.”
He reached over and took her hand. “I ask you as a man, not as a King.”
Anna squeezed his hand. “I wouldn’t refuse you.”
Henri pulled her closer to him. Anna tilted her head back slightly. Her eyes were hazily watching him. Gently he pressed his lips to hers.
Anna put her arms around him and he gripped her tightly as he deepened the kiss. His hand began to move towards her breast. But suddenly Anna broke the kiss and pulled back.
“I wonder what your wife would think of you kissing one of her ladies?”
Henri dropped his hands and ran his hand through his blond hair.
They sat there quietly. Anna wondered idly to herself if this relationship had crossed into a new territory. Her conscience was telling her that it certainly was.
