Amanda opened the gate and paused for a moment at the head of the path. Red brick wound down a small hill to the door of their whitewashed, red-roofed cottage. Flowers grew in the windowboxes. jasmine wound down trellises, and a beautiful woman leaned out the front window, calling her name...
Which meant this was a dream. She sighed.
Well, it was a nice dream, and she might as well enjoy it. Hell, if she got lucky, maybe her parents would be out back, playing with her dream children.
She smiled back at the woman, and started down the path.
