Brad grabbed her ass, and Gail jumped, then laughed, a little more shrilly than she meant. "You startled me."

"Thought you'd like that," he said, smacked her ass again, and kissed her neck. "How you doing, hot stuff?"

"Please don't do that," she said, softly. "My colleagues are here." One of them glanced over at that moment, and she gave the man a strained smile. What was her new boyfriend doing here anyway? This was just professional drinks, nothing that would interest him, and she didn't think she'd mentioned the name of the bar...

"Stick in the muds," Brad said, and grinned at her. "Come on, I know a better bar."

She shouldn't. She should stay, but... but it had been so long since she'd had fun, and Brad was fun. Maybe not good, but oh, so much fun.

Gail finished her drink and set it down on the bar. "Oh, all right, let's go."
