Color Party 5, Blackstar 7: Boy Meets Girl
Author: Kat
Title: Boy Meets Girl
Story: In the Heart
Colors: Color party 5 (Pavo), Blackstar 7 (If you should fall Into my arms And tremble like a flower → Let's Dance (Let's Dance))
Supplies and Materials: Miniature, oils (electrified), acrylic (auriferous), glue (A desert of emotional dryness can magically transform into a fertile meadow of comfort and fulfillment today.), seed beads, novelty beads ("Boom Clap," Charlie XCX)
Word Count: 100
Rating: G
Summary: Carlos meets Avery.
Warnings: none.
Notes: hahahahaa I have two days to finish color party WISH ME LUCK. Also, Carlos is Felipe's little brother, and this arc is informally titled "Why Felipe Knows So Much About Kids."
The day Carlos met Avery, she was wearing peacock colors, green and purple and deep blue, and against the gold of her hair she looked like a stained glass window. She was foul-mouthed and funny and dry, smarter than he was and quick and clever. It was the second day of their freshman year orientation, and he fell in love instantly.
"Bullshit you did," Avery said, when he told her this. "Nobody falls in love instantly."
"They do so," Carlos told her, "because I did."
She rolled her eyes, but she kissed him, so whatever, it all worked out fine.
