shipwreck_light I'm going to introduce her to the rest of my JoR gang through doing Milk Bottle prompts.
Tonight we meet Segovia and Grevilea who are sleeping together an are playing an eternal game of Hide and Seek.
Segovia hums to himself as he moves, quiet in hid footsteps and happy in his demeanor. He looks like the kind of guy you could trust, the kind that you'd tell your secrets to.
He's collecting things as he walks, swiping a thumb drive here and there and not saying anything about or making a big deal.
Jobs like this are easy, lazy even and while he's on alert, you would never guess it.
But Segovia is also aware that there's something interesting in the air, something curious and a little peculiar.
He looks over his shoulder for a moment, smiling as he sees it, the last few inches of dark hair disappearing into an alley.
He grins.
"I wonder, I wonder," he sing-songs. "Who might be 'round the bend. I wonder, I wonder, will this be the end?"
There's a laugh in the darkness and she comes dancing out, all curls and eyes and smiles. Grevilea pushes him against a wall, kissing him hard on the mouth before pulling back, another laugh already on her lips.
"You caught me," she says, stepping back. "Does that mean it's my turn?"
"No," Segovia says. "It means I get to claim my prize first."
She tilts her head, looking at the alley, then back at him. "Here?" She wrinkles her nose. "How dirty. We really ought o go back first."
He laughs, gesturing with one hand. "Well, it would make an interesting night, you've got to admit."
"Unsanitary," she states, pointing at him with one finger. "Totally unsanitary."
"The alley or me?"
She laughs. "Both of you are terribly unclean," she states. "But I'd prefer you." She kisses him again, her arms moving to wrap around his neck and pull him down and keep him there.
"Well, if someone would stop playing games, I could get this done and return." He moves one hand to rest on her waist. "Or if you'd like to help..."
"Treasure hunts were never my pleasure."
"You always did prefer the bloodier arts."
"It's lovely," she whispers. "Tasting the blood on your lips. It's a rush, a dizzy, lovely feeling, like you've just gotten off a Tilt-A-Whirl and you're left on land again. "
"I was never a fan, But if you say so."
"Oh, I do, my dear," she says. "I very much do."
"Go home, Grevilea. I'll be there soon enough."
She pouts at him. "And here I thought you were going to have me, whether I wanted it or not."
"You'd want it either way," he points out, laughing a little. "But I have work to do."
He leans down, pressing another kiss to her lips before biting down hard enough to draw just a little blood.
"Go home, I'll be there soon."
She shivers under him but nods. "Fine, you are terribly frustrating sometimes, you know that?"
"You wouldn't have me any other way, love."
