Dragon Scale Green 3, Flame 6, Midnight 8: For Glory
Author: Kat
Title: For Glory
Story: In the Heart - Fantasy AU
Colors: Dragon scale green 3 ("I'm not so much a dragon slayer, more a dragon annoyer... I'm a dragon irritater." ― Craig Ferguson), flame 6 (spark), midnight 8 (Dreadnaught)
Supplies and Materials: Bichromatic, eraser (traditional fantasy AU), miniature, graffiti (Lilith Faire Second Stage: Fight Like a Girl, Emilie Autumn)
Word Count: 100
Rating: PG
Summary: Danny encounters a dragon.
Warnings: violence.
Notes: For glory... or something.
The dragon is mad, out of its mind with rage and pain, spewing fire and clashing sparks against the stone. She's probably going to die. Danny grins at the thought, wild and bloody.
She's not a dragon slayer, she's an uppity farmer's brat from a land of dust and rocks, valued by no one so no one will miss her (well, except Michael). Yeah, she's probably going to get killed. But the hilt of the sword is rough in her hand, the breeze cool through her sweat-soaked hair, and she's never felt so alive.
The dragon turns, and she charges.
