Dealing with Dragons Literary Octarine 25

Theme: Literary/Octane 25. History, contrary to popular theories, is kings and dates and battles
Story: Bio Elves and Techno Dwarves (untitled)
Character: Peter
Word Count: 186
Summary: Introduction to Peter, a dragon prince and one of the main characters in my fantasy setting
Rating: PG
Warnings: None
Notes: Dragons are also pacifists to the Nth degree. They abhore violence and desperately are uncomfortable when pushed to it. They are almost all across the board vegetarians when they choose to eat and not live on radiation. This doesn't mean that they aren't dragons when push comes to shove, but suffice to say, if you get a dragon to kill you, you done screwed up.

Peter wasn't having the best day, he hated spending all of his time on Sephiroth and none of it outside. But trade deals were trade deals and of course they had to bring humans up again. “I'll remind you-” his first advisor started “-that they nearly blew themselves up three times. And the last with a rather impressive nuclear holocaust.”
The dwarf-blooded fellow had some valid points, however. Including time. Regardless, Peter had enough of it. “I'm done for the day.”
“Your Highness?” It felt like every voice in the chamber asked at once.
“I need to think this over. The ambassador has made good points and we should consider them.” He waved a hand and the doors all opened at once.
“Peter.” A hiss behind him came from his uncle. While dragons were a race with obvious magic, Peter himself was far more skilled than most. What good was being Powers' Touched if you never used it?
“Uncle, I'm going for a walk. Let's re-convene in the morning.” It was not a question, so Peter did not wait for an answer.
