He knew he'd marry Gina the moment he met her.

Perhaps that was a slight exaggeration, but not much. She was everything he was looking for in a wife. Young, attractive, well-mannered, a good conversationalist. She obviously took care of herself, and took pride in her appearance.

He could see her now-- on his arm at professional functions, elegant and decorative. Mothering his children, cooking dinner, keeping the house clean. Beneath him in bed, flushed pink. Yes.

By the end of the conversation he had convinced himself he was in love.

It would only take a little longer for her.
