Milk Bottle 15: Aquarium
Author: Kat
Title: Aquarium
Story: In the Heart
Colors: Milk bottle 15 (Peep show)
Supplies and Materials: Graffiti (Duck Gallery), frame, miniature, feathers (orca whales), fabric (this image), chalk (absurd creature of the week- it's a sea star, fyi)
Word Count: 100
Rating: PG
Summary: Billy at the aquarium.
Warnings: none.
Notes: Billy grows up to be a marine biologist. Quick, act shocked.
The summer that the twins were three years old, Aaron took them to the aquarium. Molly cried and hid behind him, but Billy was fascinated, pressing his nose up against the glass, his hands spread out like starfish. Molly had to be coaxed to even come close to the exhibits; Billy tried to dive headfirst into the touch tank to swim with the rays, and asked for a pet shark for his birthday.
Sea stars and orca whales, oceanic currents and underwater vents, Billy talking mile a minute with a crab cupped in his hands. It all meant summer now.
