Colors: Octarine #27. When the least they could do to you was everything, then the most they could do to you suddenly held no terror.
Supplies and Materials: graffiti (duck gallery), pastels (my current gen + romance card G4 "missing persons"), glue ("You can't be faulted now for making a dramatic gesture that lets everyone know exactly where you stand on an important issue.")

Notes: Constructive criticism welcome, as always. I may have accidentally given myself a new AU. Why do I do these things to myself?
When Isshiri went to Feredar the second time, Nolani almost went with him.
"I'll be fine," he tried to promise her, with his most winning smile, but--he'd spent weeks in the Islands recovering from his first trip, and then come home only to get stabbed...
"If you go, I'll follow," Lonura said quietly, threading their fingers together, and that almost made her pause--she was trained to combat, of course, as all royal children were, but Lonura wasn't. Nolani didn't want to lose her favorite, especially not that way, not because of a choice she made.
"I need you here," Mother sad flatly, when she asked, and that was that--not that Nolani had expected any different. Kirana was leaning towards one of the stricter orders, and Isshiri was out of the line of succession, which made Nolani her mother's only legal heir. Too important to risk in a war zone.
So, as much as she wanted to, as much as she burned to be there with her brother, protecting him the way she'd always done, she stayed at home. But she stood at the window, sparks at her fingers and a sword at her side, waiting for the first hint that things in the west were going wrong.
Because if that happened, no matter what Isshiri promised, or Lonura begged, or Mother commanded, nothing would keep her here. And if she didn't get there in time...
If she didn't get there in time, if she reached Feredar found her brother lost, the world would burn.
