Octarine 23, Spring Green 17: Gap Year
Author: Kat
Title: Gap Year
Story: In the Heart
Colors: Octarine 23 (We've got a lot of experience of not having any experience.), spring green 17 (I am the one who will remember everything)
Supplies and Materials: Miniature, brush (roustabout), glue (Meeting your obligations is honorable, but don't be so focused on the clock that you miss a truly wonderful chance to connect with your heart.), glitter (The Jungle, Megan Fernandes), beading wire (this picture), feathers (the location of the world's tallest tree), acryclic (this image), novelty beads ("Get Up", REM)
Word Count: 100
Rating: G
Summary: Michael skipped college.
Warnings: none.
Notes: I tried to fit as many supplies on this as possible. Muahaha?
Michael skipped college.
Partly, of course, because he didn't have the money. But mostly he didn't think he needed it. Yeah, a degree would be nice, but... well, he could learn so much more out here.
Out here, in the world, backpacking through Europe and Asia and anywhere he could thumb a lift. Cobbled roads in Germany, redwood trunks in California, forests of mist in Japan. Sitting in Los Angeles, eating scrambled eggs in a diner while a waitress named Dottie sang Spanish pop songs in the kitchen.
What could he get in college that he couldn't get out here?
