That's actually why I got into Night Vale. I heard Cecil/Carlos wasn't originally supposed to be a requited thing, but then someone complained that Cecil was too into Carlos and the "gay" was damaging the show, so Joseph Fink was like, "Oh, oh, you don't like that? GAY. GAY EVERYWHERE. GAAAAAAAAAAY."
