Mystic Beach Blue 12: Whales
Author: Kat
Title: Whales
Story: In the Heart
Colors: Mystic beach blue 12 (this image)
Supplies and Materials: Glue (Everything seems to be moving at a faster pace today, but you would rather block out the world so you can recharge your batteries. Unfortunately, checking out from your responsibilities isn't as simple as you wish.), miniature
Word Count: 100
Rating: G
Summary: She dreamed of whales.
Warnings: depression.
Notes: so yeah. Last mystic beach blue.
She dreamed of whales, swimming through time and space, between land and sea, between cities and sky. They carried whole worlds on their backs, swept their fins through entire civilizations. She dreamed of their voices, hollow and eerie, their skin, water-slick and knobbled with barnacles. They sang to each other, parent to child, lover to lover, and she drifted with them, so far underwater that she could not see the sky.
Something clattered, and she woke with a start, her roommate eying her with disgust. "Have you been sleeping all day?"
She only sighed, and went back to the whales.
