Wordcount: 1146
Rating: all ages
Story: Manifestations (Arc 14)
Summary: He wrote nothing that night.
Notes: Still keeping up the story of these two. And as for what happens in the upper city, you'll find out soon enough.

'What's wrong with last night?' )

Challenge: Cloudy Grey 7 (accompany)
Supplies: seed beads
Styles: reimaging (this piece)
Wordcount: 1533
Rating: all ages
Story: Manifestations (Arc 14)
Summary: Ferhas takes Tilreve out for a night of cross-cultural comparison and fluff.
Notes: It's been too long. Have some Tilreve and Ferhas being cute. I wrote this one after realising the worldbuilding of MFS was somewhat scant on the subject of religion. In many ways it's a personal blackspot, so I don't think of it much. But I needed some downtime activity for these guys, and this happened.

'And that I thought it would be… that is I thought for you… that seeing something different… would be… interesting?' )

Challenge: Midnight 14 (Singe), TARDIS Blue 2 (There's something that doesn't make sense. Let's go and poke it with a stick.)
Wordcount: 600
Rating: teen and up. Warning for death/bodies, and lots of it.
Story: Manifestations (Arc 12)
Summary: Time for some unexpected guests.
Notes: Arc 12 and the new mytharc begins! And it's also Manifestation's third birthday! I wanted to do something special for the day, and kicking off the next bit of plot seemed about right.

Challenge: Octarine 14 (You can't go around building a better world for people. Only people can build a better world for people. Otherwise it's just a cage.), Fluorite 18 (Working/Daydreaming)
Supplies: beading wire (beach after hours)
Styles: miniature
Wordcount: 100
Rating: all ages
Story: Manifestations
Summary: Jen takes a break.
Notes: Set between a coupe of previous arcs, in which Jen spent some time working as a librarian in the city of Kastek and getting to know the world outside what he knows.

He’d spent time in bars before (he was Rhusavi, after all), but this was not the same. )

Fluorite 4

rustydragonfly: Dragonfly in flight (Default)
[personal profile] rustydragonfly
Author: rustydragonfly
Challenge: Fluorite 4 (Calm/Discontent)
Supplies: canvas, charcoal, eraser, stickers (Britons eat more than 650,000 tonnes of chocolate every year.)
Styles: miniature
Wordcount: 100
Rating: all ages
Story: Manifestations (Real World AU)
Summary: Majiv's peace offering.
Notes: A whim, thanks to the stickers. This is more from the modern/urban fantasy AU. Sarn and Majiv are Jen and Dhaymin's parents, and this is set around the time when Sarn discovers Majiv's secret monster hunting past and the danger it's put his family in. Needless to say they're not really getting along too well at this point.

What did you get that for? )

Challenge: Moonlight 15 (Ephemeral)
Supplies: eraser, charcoal, pastels ([community profile] origfic_bingo October card: market), glue (You are immersed in deep waters now and your fantasies might be locked in a battle with your personal demons and ghosts of the past. The root of the problem is that you can unconsciously project your imagination on to your friends and family; but even if it appears otherwise, this is ultimately about you and not them. Don't be afraid to heal yourself, even if this seems more complicated than trying to heal others.)
Styles: collage, mosaic, fingerpainting (writing a character I didn't create)
Wordcount: 624
Rating: all ages, references to family breakups.
Story: In The Heart/Manifestations (Real World AU)
Summary: Rebecca, a bookstore, and a stranger.
Notes: Er... I hope it's okay to post this here and that I didn't mess up Rebecca too much?

Some of you might remember Majiv. If not, no real background knowledge of her is required to read this. She and Rebecca just have so much in common I had to let them meet.

Not in your way, am I? )
