Greta sighs when she sees him walking away. Without looking back. The hug had surprised her. The past year, Alex had changed. She didn’t know why but he had changed. Had become colder. More distant. Silent. The last time he had hugged her... That was when...
She narrows her eyes. When? There is a memory flashing. But when she tries to grasp it, it disappears. Leaving nothing but a weird feeling. As if it is important. As if she is... forgetting something.
Shaking her head she decides it doesn’t really matter. What matters is that, for a second, she recognised her son again. For the first time since a year, she saw the little boy he once was.
She wonders where he has gone to. Wonders when he’ll be back home. Wonders if he’ll let her hug him again.

Her eyes open wide when she hears a sound. Looking around she notices she had fallen asleep on the couch. Slowly she stands up, walking over to the table. His plate still standing there. Untouched.
A soft sigh escapes her. Sad. He hasn’t come home yet.
Tired she walks up the stairs. Walking to his room. Perhaps...
Silently she opens the door, peeking inside. But it is empty. As she had thought. As she had feared.
Surprised she looks at the floor. Shattered glass all around the room. She lets her gaze travel upwards. The mirror that was hanging against his wall. Broken.
