Tyrian Purple 20 with Miniature, Stain, and Pastels
Name: Nikki
Colors: Tyrian Purple 20 (watcher with a thousand eyes)
Styles and Supplies: Miniature, Stain (The supreme irony of life is that hardly anyone gets out of it alive. - Robert Heinlein), Pastels (my gen+romance card from
origfic_bingo; I1: memories), Canvas
Rating: PG
Word Count: 80
Story: Phase; the title of this piece is 'Remembering.'
Summary: Sarah knows the bad side Angie better than anyone.
Notes: Warnings for mentions of child abuse. May or may not have been inspired by this prompt. Thank to Thai for betaing, and convincing me that it was okay to write under 100 words.
Sarah knew how Angie destroyed himself better than anyone ever did, because she knew him before that. She knew him when he was strong for a little while. Their father beat him, but he didn't let it destroy him. He stayed strong and took care of her.
Then Angie's up and down phases started happening, and their father didn't have to try to destroy him. Angie pushed everyone away just so he could have the honor of doing it himself.
