Alice Blue 17 - Angel Cake 16 - Eraser - Glitter
Name: Kana
Title: Left alone
Story: Circle never ends
Characters: Freya
Colors: Alice Blue 17 It's a poor sort of memory that only works backwards - Angel Cake 16 Undying
Supplies and Styles: Eraser (AU - where Nick leaves her) – Glitter (You can close your eyes to the things you do not want to see, but you cannot close your heart to the things you do not want to feel." – Johnny Depp)
Word count: 251
Rating: PG
Summary: He left her, even though he promised he never would.
Notes: Constructive criticism is, as always, welcome
She slams her fist on her leg, ignoring the pain that shoots through it. Angry. Sad. Almost desperate.. He left her. For Heaven's sake. He left her.
" When this is over, I'll take you to the sea. And the mountains. I'll take you to all these places you've always wanted to see, but never did.
Freya is standing on the cliff. Her hair flying wildly in the wind. She lets it. Doesn't bother to bring up a hand and brush the locks back. It doesn't matter. Nothing really matters anymore. Not anymore...Not now he left...
The tears are falling down, uncontrolled. Splashing on the ground and her arms. Desperate sobs when she wraps her arms around her. As if trying to hold herself together. As if trying to prevent herself from breaking down.
The feeling is still there. Of his arms around her, holding her, safe and secure and caring. Of his breath against her neck. Of his lips on hers.
The words are still there, his voice ringing in her head, soft and gentle and reassuring.
"I love you."
A soft whisper.
"I loved you."
A bit louder.
"I love you!"
A scream. Hoping the wind will carry it across the sea. Hoping it will reach him. Somehow. Anyhow.
Freya knows she loves him still. Will always love him. No matter the pain he caused her. No matter how lonely she feels and how betrayed. No matter how broken her heart is - it will always belong to him.
