'verse: Universe Lost
Colors: Zing 5. how about never?
Word Count: 295
Rating: PG
Warnings: None.
Summary: That one time Tothos actually had to interrupt an argument about pizza toppings.
Note: Universe Lost is… well, it's a monster is what it is. But to avoid teal dearing let's just call it a space opera.
Even pressed into the corner, the single queen-sized bed took up nearly the entire room. The bathroom was barely large enough for a single person to stand in, never mind the three of them. Tothos planted herself by the door, as far away from her companions as she could get, and stared at the little menu in her hand. She swiped back and forth between pages, finding nothing appealing.
Too loudly for the tiny room, Milen said, "No, no, no. I don't want to see anything green on my pizza. I don't want to even think I see anything green on it."
"You don't have to eat it--"
"I'll be able to see it! I'll know it's nearby. Close. Waiting."
Kate groaned. "It's broccoli, not an Alliance agent! Look, fine, what about olives? Olives aren't green."
"No, no, never, and no. No vegetables, period. I want meat and cheese and more cheese and that's it. A woman needs protein."
"Oh, what, vitamin B is too alien for you? You are f--"
"What's Hawaiian?" Tothos called out, louder than she intended. Maybe the room had an echo.
She felt two sets of eyes on her and met them both unflinching. Kate rubbed the back of her neck and said, "Uh, it's pineapple. I think it's how they eat it in Hawaii."
She blinked. "What's Hawaii?"
"Technically still a state, but they pretty much run themselves. Part of the Coalition." At her blank look Kate added, "One of the United States. Of America."
"That's an Earth thing." She looked back at the menu. "Stupid. Should just call it pineapple pizza. Should we get it?"
"No," both women said in unison, the first thing they had agreed on since 'pizza'.
"Should have gone with sandwiches," she muttered.

And haha I used to be like that with my pizza. Just meat and cheese, but then I tried supreme and I've never looked back XD

Milen is very suspicious of vegetables. Very.

I'm thinking Tothos is right here, and I wish them luck. The interactions in this are fascinating and funny; I can't wait to see what else you do with this universe!
