Sento woke up feeling completely ill, nauseous like the time he'd first manifested his powers. Some deep rooted feeling of being wrong snaked about him and before he could fully comprehend it, a wave of loneliness crashed around him. It felt like he'd fallen off of a ship and was grasping for a handhold.
When thoughts could cross his mind, the only thing image he could call forth was of Gabriel. Drenched in sweat and clinging to his sheets, Sento came to the stark realization of what happened. Despite the parties and the full Pairing Season the Bond he'd created was with a prostitute.
He took in a deep breath and thought about his options. It would go without question that Gabriel would be looking for him, the two of them would need to be together. However, Sento questioned how much of running an estate Gabriel could manage. Would he run the whole place into the ground? Would he be able to sift through the needs of the staff against the needs of a functional dock and shipping company?
The odds his one-night-stand turned Bonded Pair was some runaway prince were excruciatingly low. Sento couldn't turn over control of these holdings to him. If he demanded it, Sento would have to get rid of him, none would be the wiser if he did it quickly.
It would have been simple, except that the idea of harm coming to Gabriel sent Sento into what could only be described as a low grade panic attack. Perhaps Gabriel could be reasoned with, if he wanted to manage an estate he'd have to learn to do so by Sento's exacting standards. Perhaps his commoner background would make him that reasonable Tharii that Sento had hoped for.
He had no way of knowing without first talking to Gabriel. Somehow, as Sento got dressed, he knew where to go. He couldn't keep rolling over options until the two of them spoke.
