Red 15, Earth 11: Obligations

Title: Obligations
Story: In the Heart and Polyfaceted
Colors: Red 15 (paint the town red), earth 11 (diligence).
Supplies and Materials: Eraser (Sociopathic Co-Parents), collage, mosaic, miniature, acrylic (deception), charcoal (sociopaths, guys), beating wire (peatland is pretty on the outside but treacherous as hell), pastels (no one has to know).
Word Count: 100
Rating: PG
Summary: Maria and Aaron go to Marietta's back-to-school night.
Warnings: Implied violence.
Notes: Sara's Christmas story, approved by her. This is a crossover between an AU wherein Aaron is a sociopath and best friends with Maria Corlioni, and an AU wherein Maria has a daughter. Why, I hear you ask? Why not, we cry.
Aaron attempted to arrange his legs under Marietta's desk three times before he gave up, and said, in a voice of deepest loathing, "I hate this place."
Maria crossed her legs at the ankle, demurely. "You didn't have to come."
He looked at her, flatly. "My father said that parents go to back-to-school night."
So in a way, he did have to. She nodded acceptance and said, after a moment, "Marietta will appreciate it."
"Hmm," Aaron said. He looked around the room, scanning the other parents, then leaned in and whispered, "Promise me we can kill someone afterwards."
"Of course."

And THIS is awesome. Heeee. I just love them and their weirdly functional parenting of Marietta while also still being super creepy. It's the best.
